Who we mean by Targeted Individuals?

A Targeted Individual is someone who experiences organised and personalised harassment designed to disrupt and damage their life. They are singled out and placed into a ‘program’ of targeting that focuses on them alone.

There are many different possibilities as to why this happens, but our own initial X poll suggests that the individual may have had a disagreement with someone, or the individual may have whistleblown and reported on something that was wrong. Personal factors, such as a disgruntled ex-partner, may also be a reason.

Whatever the reason, the common linkage seems to be that the individual has upset someone with 'connections' and the individual is then blacklisted and placed onto a 'program' or 'blacklist' to be singled out and ostracized.

When asked on an X Poll who was believed to have placed them onto such a blacklist, our respondents (176 in total) indicated that the police or military, a powerful club such as a secret society or boys network, a businessman or other individual, or the council or government were likely involved.

When asked why they believe they had been placed onto such a program, the majority of our respondents agreed the reasons was threefold - to silence them, to destroy them and to seek revenge. Indeed, some people who are affected refer to such a program as the "Revenge List".

The consequences of being placed onto such a blacklist can be both lifechanging and devastating. Individuals:

1. Can be barred from access to normal opportunities - including work opportunities. Even obtaining voluntary opportunities can be difficult.

2. Have their personal reputations slandered, damaged and destroyed.

3. Can be denied proper assistance from public services - which also includes either being made to wait, not receiving the right help, or being hung up during a phone call.

4. Become subject to surveillance and harassment in their lives, often at large levels, including offline and online.

5. May be forced to move to a different location (but which usually does not help as the blacklisting simply follows them to the new destination).

6. Have their personal lives, along with friendships, made far more challenging.

7. Can be left isolated and treated as a third-class citizen with little or no rights.

8. Have their fundamental human rights destroyed and are not able to enjoy or do the things they once could.

Is there any good news?

Yes! The good news is that more and more people are now talking about this. It is becoming more exposed. People report exactly the same patterns happening towards them. There are many books and also many reports from whistleblowers who have exposed what is happening. One of these whistleblowers is Karen Stewart, a former Intelligence Analyst with the National Security Agency, who has written articles about it for The Washington Standard.

We also know that such use of blacklists exists at both local and national levels. The case of Jane Clift, a lady in the UK, who had to sue her local council when she was placed on a local blacklist is a prime example.

Please sign our Change.org Petition:

Please sign our petition at change.org to have innocent individuals like you and me removed from these blacklists or watchlists. We need to grow the overall number of people who have already signed our petition. It needs to get much larger yet, but it's slowly getting there! Please share our petition on your own social media channels to spread the word. Thankyou so much.

The primary purpose of this site is to build a growing base of followers from which we can gather useful research data and successfully analyse, evaluate and publish such data and findings on this site. Only by doing this, can we begin to understand more about the patterns and experiences which people are reporting and being subjected to.

So, we kindly ask you. If you have not already done so, please visit our Homepage and click on the blue "Subscribe" button in the bottom right corner. What the site may also cover in the future?

The site may, at some point later, expand the definition and include other people who identify as being targeted. We may then expand our research to include extra categories and definitions of people who identify as such.
