Harassment Experiences; Noise and Light Campaigns / Intrusions from Neighbour - Targeted Individuals
The results from an X Poll we ran on September 1st 2025 are now in!
We asked targeted individuals if they had experienced intrusions from their neighbour, and whether they had experienced noise and light campaigns.
The X poll received 81 responses.
- 69 people, or 85% of the respondents, stated that they experience intrusions from their neighbour.
- 76 people, or 94% of the respondents, stated that they experience noise and light campaigns.
The poll did not break the answers down into further specifics. This is because X polls are only basic in nature.
Intrusions from neighbour could relate to any intrusion from a neighbour, such as a neighbour banging their door repeatedly, banging on the window, regularly parking their car awkwardly and much more.
Noise campaigns could involve, for example, the daily or regular use of car horns outside of a targeted victim's property. Light campaigns could involve, for example, the use of full beam car headlights deliberately utilised against the targeted victim.
There are many other things which could be utilised towards the targeted victim as part of a noise and light campaign towards the individual.
Later, we will carry out further research where we drill down further and explore the specifics within these categories.
