At the end of August 2025, we ran an X Poll on our X account @TheEverydayBrit.
The poll received our largest ever number of respondents - 176 people kindly voted on this poll.
The question was as follows:
Who do you believe physically put you on a 'targeted individual' list?
The biggest response was from 63 people (35.8%) who believed the police / military were responsible for physically putting them on a targeted list.
This was followed by 43 people (24.4%) who stated that a secret society / club was responsible.
This was very closely followed by 40 people (22.7%) who believed that a business / business person or individual was involved.
Finally, at 17%, some 30 people stated that the Government or local Council were involved.
I had a small number of people contact me to state that they believed more than one of these answers to be involved as they believed some had combined together to create them as targeted. Some stated that they believed all were involved in their particular cases. I said I would mention this within the analysis as they felt this was important. Unfortunately, running an X Poll only allows for up to 4 different responses and I was not, on this poll, able to come up with other responses such as "All of the Above" or "Some of the Above".
Had we been able to incorporate more answers to the X Poll, then I am sure we would have gained even more respondents than the 176 people which kindly responded to this particular X poll. I am sure we would have seen well over 200 respondents to this poll had more answers been allowed. What is apparent is that somehow and in some way, the individuals believe they are nominated and put forward to be targeted.
As to what the reason is as to why someone has been placed on a list to be targeted, our previous post Why do you believe you were placed on a list to be targeted explores four potential reasons and received 137 respondents. Although, as mentioned above, with X Polls we can only explore up to four answers at any one given time and there could be more potential avenues.
