If you have gone away on vacation / holiday somewhere, did the harassment continue whilst you were on holiday?
26 people responded out of which 24 people (over 92%) stated that the harassment still continued whilst they were away on vacation somewhere.
This also ties in with my own experiences where I have holidayed away somewhere for a long weekend or a full week, however, even if you have a single day trip out somewhere (like to the beach or a theme park) this can also be affected.
A suggestion that might help for booking your next holiday is to look for holiday accommodation off the beaten track which is more private.
Use sites like Booking.com to find yourself accommodation which is perhaps in the countryside.
Aim for accommodation which has no neighbouring properties and is set in its own grounds with its own private parking.
Ideally aim for accommodation with good perimeter fencing such as tall fencing, plentiful conifer trees or hedging, and good canopy cover overhead.
Ideally you should look for something which cannot be overlooked and is private.
Look for accommodation which has its own facilities rather than shared facilities. Many properties have their own swimming pools and garden facilities including barbecues and loungers.
Where you have dogs, look towards taking your dogs with you. Plenty of holiday accommodations now allow for dogs to also stay at the accommodation for an additional surcharge.
Also, don't leave booking your holiday accommodation until last minute. Booking well ahead of time will offer you so much more choice and different styles of accommodation on sites like Booking.com. Leaving it until last minute will mean that you simply do not have the choice at your disposal and you will be left with what's left.
Begin moving away from simply booking holiday accommodation in a hotel, holiday complex or caravan park which is surrounded by lots of other holiday apartments, lodges or caravans.
Finally as a reminder, before you leave your home address, aim to make your own property secure with relevant security measures to prevent unauthorised access to your property whilst you are away.
