As it's Sunday, we want to give you some more ideas on things you can do today to take care of yourself and give yourself a much-needed boost.
So here are some more things you can do at home to relax you, to calm you, to build your self-esteem and to help bring you a positive mindset:
🌿 Relax at Home with Simple Pleasures
Start the day with a nice homemade latte. I make my own lattes everyday at home and find them to be a nice boost to my day. Treat yourself to some Nescafe instant latte sachets for use on other Self Care Sundays.
If you prefer taking a shower rather than a bath, consider using aromatherapy shower steamers to relax you.
Make a Full English Breakfast for breakfast or a mid-morning brunch. Here's a YouTube Shorts video to give you some Full English Breakfast inspiration.
Snuggle up with a blanket and a hot water bottle on the couch and watch some TV. On Sundays, I particularly like to watch live football on the tele 👍
Start scrapbooking or create a photo book with your favourite items and memories.
Put your Christmas tree up, your fairy lights and your Christmas decorations. This can be a real mood booster and the sooner you put them up the longer you have to enjoy them over the Christmas season.
Take up a new hobby you can do at home. Hobbies have been shown to be great for mental health.
Begin a small DIY project in the house such as painting an old chair or renovating an old unit.
Do some cleaning in the house. Tidying the kitchen or cleaning the bathroom can be a great mental boost as well as making your home look better.
