Harassment Experiences - Moving to Escape Harassment - Part 3 - Targeted Individuals

Moving to Escape Harassment
We ran a small X Poll on the 7th November 2025 on our X account @TheEverydayBrit where we asked the following question to targeted individuals:

If you have moved to a new location to escape the harassment (e.g. a new house, a new city, a new country), did the harassment stop?

Although only a small number of people responded, 95% of those who did respond stated that where they had moved to escape the harassment as a targeted individual, the harassment did not stop and simply continued at the new location.

This supports our first post on this topic which stated that moving to a new location may likely not stop the problem - Moving to Escape Harassment - Part 1

As we said in the Part 1 post, rather than moving to any old house or location, what perhaps matters more is the type of house or accommodation you next choose to live in. Our Moving to Escape Harassment - Part 2 post provides some useful suggestions or pointers of things to consider when choosing your next property to live at.

Admittedly, many TI's simply do not have much of a choice where they live as they simply don't have the money to finance a better place. However, even if you manage to obtain just one of the pointers then it's a step in the right direction to attain a more private way of living.

If you can choose to move to something a bit more private then it is definitely something that should be on your list to consider.
